The REALITY® Tour:

Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines

A decade after 196 countries pledged to tackle climate change through the Paris Agreement, emissions and global temperatures continue to rise. Time is running out. Now, more than ever, urgent action is needed.

The REALITY® Tour is a movement-building initiative aimed at driving the political will, public momentum, and ambition needed for bold action at the UN climate summit in Brazil in November 2025. The tour features four flagship, multi-day Climate Reality Leadership Corps trainings in Paris, Nairobi, Rio de Janeiro, and Ulaanbaatar, along with additional trainings led by Climate Reality branches worldwide.

In the Philippines, the REALITY® Tour will convene more than 100 aspiring Filipino climate advocates in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, expanding the number of Filipino Climate Reality Leaders in the Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao regions.

Negros Occidental’s renewable energy leadership makes it the ideal host for this event. In 2024, the provincial government launched “SecuRE Negros Energy Development  Roadmap”—a strategic blueprint designed to secure long-term energy independence through renewable energy development.
